So as you know, part one of the final climactic close of the course will take place on Thursday, May 08 from 3–5:50 PM, and part two on Thursday, May 15 from 1–3 pm (note the time difference).
Please don’t be late!
Once again, this presentation is your time to shine — you will want to show off all of the pieces which you have created, but you will also want to present them in a manner that we can understand how the software works.
I would like you to create a clean and simple presentation of your software demo. You will have a chance to “walk through” your project on the day of the final. This will be the final chance for you to really make this a believable piece of software, and naturally, your final chance to demonstrate your prowess!
If you’re keeping track, your software demo should include the following items:
- Desktop icon
- Splash screen
- The interface (the overall structure, look & feel)
- Three tools with a “housing”
- Two windows that prompt user interaction
Note — On the Day of the Final:
MOST IMPORTANT: Upload files (see below) to CI Learn by 3:05 PM next class. Anything uploaded/submitted after 3:05 PM is marked late and the project will incur a deduction.
Be ready to present and walk through your software. You will each get approximately 5 minutes to present.
What is due?
- Software presentation Demo PDF (uploaded to CI Learn)
- Create a Behance page
- Project title and description
- Staging Image (all required elements in one pic)
- Two to three screenshots of the software demo
- (Optional)Video: screen recording of the software walk-through

NOTE: Do not add slide transitions (e.g. Fade, Sliding Blinds, etc.)
Remember that this final project figures for 15% of your grade in the class, and this is also your last chance to make a good impression!
